Edward C. was born in 1826.1   Edward C.'s father was Asahel Nash and his mother was Betsey Fuller.  His paternal grandparents were Asahel Nash and Betsy Shutts. He had five brothers and four sisters, named William Brown, Norman Fuller, Martin A., Edgar, Henry W., Mary T., Abigail J., Chany and Caroline.  He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.  He died in 1826.1
