John F. was born about 1857 in GA.1 John F.'s father was David Hugh Manson and his mother was Nancy A. Fleeming. His paternal grandparents were Hugh Manson and Margaret Fleeting. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Richard Fleeting, Frank, Mary J., Sarah, Margaret and Nancy A.. He was the third oldest of the seven children.1 -
