Sarah was born on August 16th, 1690 in NC.1   Sarah's father was Alexander Lillington and her mother was Sarah James.  Her paternal grandfather was George Lillington. She had two brothers and four sisters, named John Alexander, George, Ann, Elizabeth, Mary and Sarah. She had two half-brothers named James and Alexander.1
