John Lathrop 
John was born about 1663 in Barnstable, Barnstable, Mass. and his baptism took place on December 7th, 1645 in Boston, Massachusetts.1 John's father was Samuel Lothrop and his mother was Elizabeth Scudder. His paternal grandparents were John Lothrop and Hannah Howse; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Scudder and Elizabeth Lowers. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Israel, Joseph, Samuel, Sarah, Abigail, Anne, Martha and Elizabeth. He died on August 28th, 1688 in Wallingford, CT.2 General Notes
