John was born in 1715 in Boston, Mass.1   John's father was John King and his mother was Sarah Allen. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Thomas, Benjamin, Aaron, Moses, David, Jonathon, William, Sarah, Hannah and Mary.  He died at the age of 63 on July 2nd, 1778.1
