Kryn Kalkman 
Kryn was born on April 6th, 1867 in Netherlands.1 Kryn's father was Kryn Kalkman and his mother was Maria Hoogendorp. His paternal grandparents were Krijn Kalkman and Aafje Van Der Vlies; his maternal grandparents were Cornelius Hoogendorp and Johanna Post. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Krijn, Krijn, Cornelius, Cornelius, Cornelius "Casey", Johanna, Aafje, Aafje, Catharina "Kate" and Maria. He died at the age of 71 on June 21st, 1938 in Holland, Michigan.1 General Notes

Kryn Kalkman (4\6\1867-6\21\1938) Married Jane Roas (Rose?) in 1887 or 1888 in Michigan. Their children were:
1. Marie (8\26\1899-5\25\1975)
2. Benjamin
3. Pauline (8\19\1903-10\14\1963)
4. Adrian fell through the ice and drowned when he was about eleven years old.
Kryn served in the Navy in the Netherlands.
Kryn Kalkman became very religious later in life.
