1   James' father was Samuel Hueston and his mother was Margaret Jane McManus.  His paternal grandfather was William B. Hueston. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, Thomas, William, Mary Ann, Elizabeth Frances, Bessie and Nancy.1
