Josef was born about 1899.1   Josef's father was Josef Haering and his mother was Maria Muehlbauer.  His paternal grandmother was Unknown Kasper. He had nine brothers and three sisters, named Andreas, Michael, Alois, Franz, Johann, Karl, Ludwig, Peter, Wolfgang, Anna, Franziska and Maria.1
