Mary was born on June 21st, 1641 in Roxbury, Suffolk, MA and her baptism took place there on July 3rd, 1648.1   Mary's father was John Gorton and her mother was Margaret Wheaton.  Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Gorton and Elizabeth. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Abraham, John, Alice, Elizabeth, Hannah and Sarah.  She died before 1646.1
