Helena was born on November 21st, 1683.1   Helena's father was Jacob Sanders Glen and her mother was Catherine vanWitbeck.  Her paternal grandparents were Alexander Leendetse Glen and Catharine Dongan; her maternal grandparents were Jan Tomase vanWitbeck and Geertruy Andriese Dochter.  She was an only child.1
