Thomas was born on April 25th, 1589 in Yardley, Worcestor, England.1   Thomas' father was Richard Gilbert and his mother was Margery Morken. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Parnell, Richard, Elizabeth and Margaret.  He died before September 1659 in Weathersfield, Connecticut.1
