David Frey

David was born on September 18th, 1801 in Linesville,Craawford,Pa..¹ David's father was Henry Frey and his mother was Barbara Baumgartner. His paternal grandparents were Gottfried Frey and Maria Margaretha Linn; his maternal grandfather was Henry Baumgartner. He had eight brothers and seven sisters, named John, Joseph, Samuel, Jacob, Henry, Enoch, George, Simeon, Katharina, Elizabeth, Polly, Barbara, Nancy, Martha and Anna. He was the eighth oldest of the sixteen children. He died at the age of 81 in 1882.¹
