Dicy was born on January 23rd, 1904 in Sylvania, Screven Co., GA.1 Dicy's father was Soloman Clarence Flythe and her mother was Abbie Reddick. Her paternal grandparents were George Washington Flythe and Janie Jackson; her maternal grandparents were Authur Warren Reddick and Mary Shelby. She had a sister named Lilla. She was the younger of the two children. She died at the age of 74 on March 9th, 1978 in Savannah, Chatham Co., GA.1 General Notes
