!From a letter from Nettie Vaupre (granddaughter of Bridget Flynn) dated 1963: !Grandmother Dean was born in the town of Feathert, County Tipperary. Her name was Bridget Flynn. She was married to an English Soldier who was drowned in the English Channel. Then she met widower Joseph Dean. They married and came to America. (WAS HER MARRIED NAME FLYNN ??? or was it her maiden name?) Grandmother Dean was a Catholic, but lived too far from church to attend regularly. To make up for it she gave everything Grandfather left her to the church in Coldwater, Michigan. She like our house better than anywhere else and died in her bedroom with a rosary in her hand. My mother (Sarah Dean Gilbert) used to pamper her in everything and that pleased her. END !death: record obtained from Branch Co. stated date of death, approx. age., and names of parents. This record seems to verify her actual maiden name was FLYNN.
