Cornelius was born on March 9th, 1826 in Dreischor, Zeeland Province, Netherlands.1   Cornelius' father was Michael Fernambucq and his mother was Wilhelmina Kip.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 82 on August 4th, 1908 in Grand Rapids, Kent County, Mi.1
