Evalina Evans 
Evalina was born on April 28th, 1861 in Screven Co., GA.1 Evalina's father was John Ruel Evans and her mother was Sarah Elizabeth Lucas. Her paternal grandparents were Hezekiah Evans and Sarah Moore. She had seven brothers and six sisters, named John Ruel, James Hezekiah, William Ellison, Charles, Herschel V. J., Ruel, Hezekiah, Sarah Elizabeth, Anna Jane, Martha Humphries, Magnolia, Jessamine and Dahlia. She was the sixth youngest of the fourteen children. She died at the age of 85 on May 2nd, 1946.1 General Notes
