Otto was born in 0944 in France.1 Otto's father was Hugues Magnus and his mother was Hedwig Of Saxony. His paternal grandparents were I Robert and Beatrice De Vermandois; his maternal grandparents were Heinrich I "The Germans and Matilda Countess Of Ringleheim. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Hugh, Heinrich, Beatrix and Emma Princess Of. He was the second youngest of the five children.1 -
