1   Joseph's father was Thomas Delano and his mother was Rebecca Alden. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Benoni, Jonathan, David, Thomas, Mary, Ruth and Sarah.  He died on May 22nd, 1770 in Duxbury, Plymouth Co. MA.1
