Percy Benjamin Dean 
Percy Benjamin's father was Jesse Barnwell Dean and his mother was Eveline Agnes Johnson. His paternal grandparents were Allen Nelson Dean and Anne Peeples. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Elliott Luther, Jesse Lee, George Gibson, Robert Calhoun, William Eugene, Mamie Eulalia, Geneva and Nina Inez. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named James Edward, William Procter, Florrie Estell, Carrie Virginia and Rosa Ella.-
