Fancy was born on September 22nd, 1798.1   Fancy's father was James Davis and her mother was Sally. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Jeremiah, Nathan, Josiah, James, David, Jonathan, Stephen, Nancy, Sally and Hannah.  She was the third youngest of the eleven children.1
