John Q was born on September 2nd, 1794 in MECKLENBURG CO, NORTH CAROLINA.1   John Q's father was William Cochran and his mother was Margaret McGinnis. He had two brothers named Robert McClelland and Joseph.  He was the second oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 59 on August 6th, 1854 in MECKLENBURG CO, NORTH CAROLINA.1
