1   Margaret's father was Thomas Henry Browne and her mother was Margaret English.  Her paternal grandfather was Thomas Browne; her maternal grandparents were John English and Nancy Unknown. She had three brothers and six sisters, named George, John, Tom, Addie, Estella, Jane Jennie, Susan, Tilly and Willimena.1
