Deborah was born in Windsor, Conneticut.1   Deborah's father was Peter Brown and her mother was Mary Gillet.  Her paternal grandfather was Peter Brown. She had five half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Jonathan, Cornelius, Hester, Peter, John, Mary, Hannah, Abigail, Hapzibah, Isabel and Sarah.1
