Perley Briggs

Perley was born on July 16th, 1783 in Shutesbury, MA..¹ Perley's father was Ebenezer Briggs and her mother was Silence Redding. Her paternal grandparents were Ebenezer Briggs and Margery Leonard. She had five brothers and three sisters, named John, Wirium, Life, Ebenezer, Amash, Sarah, Silence and Salley. She was the third youngest of the nine children.¹
