Eliza was born in 1854 in Napa, CA..1 Eliza's father was Charles P. Briggs and her mother was Katherine Coombs. Her paternal grandparents were Charles Briggs and Eliza Allen; her maternal grandparents were Abraham Coombs and Unknown. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Henry H., Son, Julia A., Ida and Catherine. She was the third oldest of the six children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named George A., Charles B., Fanny S. and Mary Louise. She died due to Consumption at the age of 32 on December 27th, 1886 in Napa, CA..1 -
