John was born in 1622 in Pomfert, Yorkshire.1   John's father was Thomas Bradley and his mother was Francis Saville.  His paternal grandparents were Henry Bradley and Barbara Lane; his maternal grandparents were John Saville and Elizabeth Carey. He had three brothers and a sister, named Francis, Thomas, Saville and Barbara.  He was the oldest of the five children.  He died in London.1
