Allison was born on July 17th, 1789.1   Allison's father was Jacob Booker and her mother was Mary Anne Witzell.  Her maternal grandparents were Witzell and Cooper. She had seven brothers and six sisters, named John, Jacob N., Samuel P., William N, David Dariah, Henry Alexander, George L., Elizabeth, Susan, Sallie, Mary, Nancy Ann and Theresa Amelia.  She was the seventh youngest of the fourteen children.1
