Cleo Cecilia was born on December 25th, 1881 in Screven Co., GA.1   Cleo Cecilia's father was John Robert Beard and her mother was Joanna Clementina Brannen.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Beard and Irene Varner; her maternal grandparents were Hope Brannen and Sophia E. Humphries. She had two brothers and a sister, named Vernon Thomas, Magnus Leroy and LizzieDelle. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Sidney Jesse and May S..  She died at the age of 94 on February 22nd, 1976.1
