James Robert was born about 1846.1 James Robert's father was James Perry Bazemore and his mother was Mahala E. Beard. His paternal grandparents were Starkey Bazemore and Cynthia Rawls; his maternal grandparents were John Beard and Susan Harris. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Theodore, Jesse Montgomery, W. Heyward, Joseph Frank, Perry, Susan Temperance, Jane Camilla, Julia, Mary Elizabeth and Sarah.1 -
