Gideon Barney 
Gideon was born about 1728.1 Gideon's father was Israel Barney and his mother was Mary Dring. His paternal grandparents were Israel Barney and Elizabeth Bracket. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Giles, John, Israel, Mary and Ann. He was the second oldest of the six children.1 -
