Ida A. was born on April 4th, 1891.  Ida A.'s father was Marshall Vitalis Baker and her mother was Ida A. I. McCord.  Her paternal grandparents were Norman N. Baker and Margaret Baker; her maternal grandparents were Alfred McCord and Mary Griffin. She had a brother and a sister, named Roy Sherman and Lilian Osa.  She was the youngest of the three children.
