John Adams 
John was born in 1661.1 John's father was Joseph Adams and his mother was Abigail Baxter. His paternal grandparents were Henry Adams and Edith Squire; his maternal grandfather was Gregory Baxter. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Joseph, Samuel, Peter, Jonathan, Hannah, Bethia, Mary, Mehitable and Abigail.1 -
