David I "The Saint" Koenig was born about 1081 in Of, Scotland.1 David I "The Saint" Koenig's father was Malcolm III "Canmore" Koenig von Schottland and his mother was St Margaret. His paternal grandparents were Duncan I "The Gracious" Koenig von Schottland and Aelflaed (Sybil) von Northumbria; his maternal grandparents were Edward Athling Prinz von England and Agatha. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Edgar Koenig, Alexander I "the Fierce" Koenig, Matilda (Edith) "Good Queen Maud" and Mary Prinzessin. He had eleven half-brothers named Duncan II May-Nov Koenig, Donald, Malcolm, Edward Prinz, Edmund Prinz, Ethelred Prinz, Prinz, Alexander I "The Fierce" Koenig, Edward, Edmund I Koenig and Ethelred. He died on May 24th, 1153 in Carlisle, Cumberland, England.1 -
