Max Kerstan von Schlotheim 
Max Kerstan was born on November 11th, 1852 in Erfurt. Max Kerstan's father was Karl Ludwig Freiherr von Schlotheim and his mother was Ida Marie von Wolff. His paternal grandparents were Guenther Wilhelm Friedrich von Schlotheim and Luise von Hopffgarten; his maternal grandparents were Carl Wilhelm von Wolff and Dorothea Graefin von Hardenberg. He had a brother and a sister, named Hans Berthold Freiherr and Helene Marie. He was the second oldest of the three children. He had a half-brother named Heinrich August. He died at the age of 33 on August 10th, 1886 in Potsdam.-
