Johann Friedrich Karl von Hessen-Darmstadt 
Johann Friedrich Karl was born in 1726. Johann Friedrich Karl's father was Ludwig Vlll von Hessen-Darmstadt and his mother was Charlotte von Hanau-Lichtenberg. His paternal grandparents were Ernst Ludwig von Hessen-Darmstadt and Dorothea Charlotte von Brandenburg-Ansbach. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Ludwig lX, Georg Wilhelm, Charlotte Wilhelmine, Karoline Luise and Luise Auguste Magdalene. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 99 in 1825.
