Aveline was born about 1172 in Hereford, Herefordshire, England.1 Aveline's father was Roger De Clare and her mother was Maude De St. Hillary. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Fitz Gilbert and Adeliya\Alice De Meschines; her maternal grandparents were James De StHillary and Aveline. She had a brother named Richard III. She was the younger of the two children. She died about June 4th, 1225.1 -
