Bouchard von Avesnes 
Bouchard was born about 1182 in Of Oizy, Namur, Belgium.1 Bouchard's father was Jacques von Avesnes and his mother was Adelphie De Guise. His paternal grandparents were Nicolas von Avesnes and Mathilde De La Roche; his maternal grandparents were Bernard De Guise and Alix. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Gautier II Seigneur, Jacques, Guy, Mathilde, Ida, Ada and Adelaide. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died in 1244.1 -
