Cora Emma was born on March 20th, 1879 in East Peoria, Tazwell Co., IL.1 Cora Emma's father was James Lewis Twiggs and her mother was Elizabeth Eliza Allen. Her maternal grandparents were Samuel James Allen and Margaret Jane Patch. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Edward William, James Earl, Henry Ishmael, Mary Elizabeth, Hattie Lavina, Myrtle Isabell, Maggie Jane, Nellie May Pearl and Martha Angie. She was the fifth oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 83 on April 1st, 1962 in Sargent, Custer Co., NE.1 -
