Margaret Isabella Smith 
Margaret Isabella was born in 1828 in Anson Co., North Carolina, USA.1 Margaret Isabella's father was John Monro Smith and her mother was Mary McAlpine. Her paternal grandparents were John (Malcom) Smith and Margaret Monro; her maternal grandparents were Daniel (Alexander) McAlpine and Isabella Munn. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Daniel, John Calvin, Caroline Elizabeth, Mary McIver, Sallie E. and Ellen Olivia. She died at the age of 43 in 1871.1 -
