Oney was born about 1767 in Amelia County, Virginia, USA.1 Oney's father was Jesse Seay and her mother was Betsey Belton Lyon. Her paternal grandfather was James M. Seay. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Alexander Alescent, James "Jamie", Maiden, Keziah and Mary "Polly". She was the youngest of the six children. She died in 1892 in Spartanburg Co., South Carolina, USA.1 -
