Charles S. was born on November 20th, 1864 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama.1 Charles S.'s father was Robert Jackson Plant and his mother was Rebecca A. Baker. His maternal grandparents were Abner Baker and Sarah. He had eight brothers and a sister, named Robert A., John Jefferson, George, William S., Allen K., Thomas J., Casper Howell, Claude and Loula Sally. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 77 on September 3rd, 1942.1 -
