James Franklin Newton 
James Franklin was born on February 22nd, 1864 in Greene Co., IN.1 James Franklin's father was Joseph Ahart Newton and his mother was Mary Jane Burks. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Newton and Lydia Back. He had two brothers and four sisters, named John W., Joseph Kelly, Sarah M., Lydia Ann, Mary Eliza and Martha Alice. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 75 on January 29th, 1940 in Michigantown, IN.1 -
