Samuel Robert McElhinney

Samuel Robert was born on September 30th, 1831 in Sterling, New York.¹   Samuel Robert's father was Robert McElhinney and his mother was Nancy Martin.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph McElhinney and Catherine Finley. He had four brothers and a sister, named Gavin, John H., Joseph M., Robert and Catherine.  He was the second youngest of the six children.  He died at the age of 51 on December 29th, 1882.¹
