Katherine was born about 1460 in Of Sedgebrook, Lincolnshire, England.1 Katherine's father was Robert Markham and her mother was Elizabeth Burdon. Her paternal grandparents were John Markham and Elizabeth Cressy; her maternal grandparents were Nicholas Burdon and Millicent De Beckering. She had a brother and two sisters, named Robert, Elizabeth and Margaret. She was the youngest of the four children.1 -
