Maria Komnene 
Maria was born about 1045 in Constantinople, Constantinople, Turkey.1 Maria's father was Ioannis Komnenos and her mother was Anna Dalassene. Her paternal grandfather was Manolis (Michael) "Erotikos" Komnenos; her maternal grandparents were Alexios Charon Dalassenes and Miss Delassene. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Manolis, Isaac Prince von Byzantinschen, Alexios I Emperorvom Byzantynischen, Adrianos Prinz, Nikephoros, Eudoxia and Theodora. She was the second oldest of the eight children.1 -
