Effie Mary Kennedy 
Effie Mary was born in November 1851 in Itawamba Co., Mississippi.1 Effie Mary's father was Edward Dejernatte Kennedy and her mother was Sarah Ann Weeks. Her paternal grandparents were Maxfield Kennedy and Sarah DeJernatte. She had nine brothers and four sisters, named Jemisha, Marion, Samual, Edward, Thomas J., James M., Rubin, Harvey, Cyrus, Lucy, Eliza(beth?) J., Tabitha and Martha. She was the seventh oldest of the fourteen children. She died at the age of 84 on November 28th, 1935 in Cleaburn, Johnson Co., Texas.1 -
