Fannie Mae was born on February 23rd, 1872 in near Stephens, Oglethorpe County, Georgia, USA.1 Fannie Mae's father was Nathaniel Harrison Hunter and her mother was Sara Caroline Richter. Her paternal grandparents were Nathan Hunter and Annie Harrison Smith; her maternal grandparents were Charles Wilhelm Richter and Anne Eliza Potter. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Charles Milton, Hudson Hans, Arthur Potter, Nathaniel Harrison, James Howard, Kathrin "Kate" M., Sara "Sallie" and Ann Mae. She died at the age of 95 on October 25th, 1967 in Philomath, Oglethorpe County, Georgia, USA.1 -
