Benjamin Fortson 
Benjamin was born in 1765.1 Benjamin's father was Thomas Fortson and his mother was Rachel Winn. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Fortson and Elizabeth Winn; his maternal grandparents were Benjamin Winn and Miss Taverner. He had three brothers and two sisters, named William, Richard, Jesse, Elizabeth and Millie. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 58 in 1823.1 -
