William Fitzosbern 
William was born about 1030 in Of, Poitiers, Poitou, France.1 William's father was Osbern and his mother was Emma von Ivry. His paternal grandfather was Herfast; his maternal grandfather was Ralph Count von Ivry. He had a brother and a sister, named Osbern and Emma. He was the oldest of the three children. He died on February 20th, 1071 in Flanders.1 -
