Egbert's father was Ethelred II "The Unready " Koenig von England and his mother was Elfreda (Elfgiva). His paternal grandparents were Edgar " The Peaceful " Koenig von England and Aelfthryth (Elfrida); his maternal grandfather was Thored. He had three brothers and four sisters, and also three siblings of unknown gender, named Edmund "Ironsides" Koenig, Edward, Edgar, Edith, Elgiva, Wulfhilda, (Daughter), Athelstan, Edred and Edwy. He had fifteen half-brothers and nine half-sisters, named Athelstan Prinz, Egbert Prinz, Edred Prinz, Edwig Prince, Edward Prince, Edgar Prince, Athelstan, Ecgbert, Edred, Edwy, Edward, Edgar, Edward (St) " The Confessor " Koenig, Alfred, Alfred, Elgiva (Alfgifu) Prinzessin, Edith Princess, Wulfhild Prinzessin, Miss Princess, Aethelreda Prinzessin, AElfgifu, Edith, Wulfhilda and Godgifu. He died in 1005.-
